Luke Humphries wins the PDC World Grand Prix final against Gerwyn Price with a score of 6-4.

Welshman Price started the final of the only professional tournament played in the "Double-In" format with furious pace. In the first set, Price threw an average of 132.62 points, achieving by far the highest value in the history of this format. He extended his lead to 3-0 in the same dominant fashion.

Humphries impressively managed to catch up, even taking a 4-3 lead in sets. Although Price equalized to 4-4, he couldn't keep up in the finish against a flawless Humphries. Humphries wins 6-4.

Changes in the World Ranking

The winner finished with an average of 93.16 and a checkout percentage of 50 percent. Price held 95.37 and 44.44 percent. Both players threw ten 180s each.

Humphries can look forward to prize money of 150,000 pounds and moves up to second place in the PDC World Ranking. Luke Littler, who was eliminated in round one, remains undisputed as the number one in the rankings. Gian van Veen slips to third place.
