Former Sturm coach El Maestro takes over new club
After his departure in Cyprus, Nestor El Maestro has a new job. With Manisa FK, he is tasked with securing survival in the second Turkish league.
Nestor El Maestro coached SK Sturm Graz in the 2019/2020 season. Since then, the 43-year-old has been active at numerous clubs.
Most recently, the Serb was employed in the Cyprus League with Anorthosis Famagusta.
However, El Maestro was dismissed again after just six matches. Five defeats in six games proved to be the downfall of the former Sturm Graz coach.
New Coaching Role in Turkey
Just a few days after his dismissal, El Maestro has found a new club. With Manisa FK, El Maestro is tasked with securing survival in the second Turkish league.
El Maestro finished sixth with the Grazers in 2020 and won only nine of his 25 games as Sturm coach. El Maestro's average tenure per club is just 0.79 years.
