Transfer to Turkey Collapsed for Austrian Legionnaire at the Last Minute
The Austrian was linked with a last-minute deal within Turkey. However, nothing came of it.
Can Keles (25) moved from Wiener Austria to Karagümrük in Turkey in 2023.
In 2024, he then made the move to Besiktas. He spent the past season on loan at Kocaelispor.
Shortly before the end of the transfer window in Turkey (September 4), a transfer was on the cards. "Milliyet" reported an agreement with Rizespor. However, the Austrian was never registered in the end. The reason why the deal ultimately failed is not known.
No Further Turkey Transfer Possible

Keles still has a contract until 2028. The winger has not featured for Besiktas yet this season. He will certainly not play in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League, as the Austrian was not registered for it.
