Ronald Koeman coached the Netherlands during the World Cup but is no longer in office.

Now his son, Ronald Koeman Jr., is making headlines. The 31-year-old is a goalie in the Dutch top flight for Telstar. On Matchday 5, he was on the pitch in the clash against Cambuur (2:2).

There, he shone precisely in front of the opposing goal: The situation for his team initially seemed more than hopeless. In the 24th minute, teammate Thorisson received a red card.

Koeman with a Penalty Brace

Afterwards, Austrian professional Nicolas Binder put Cambuur (initially) on the path to victory. In the 53rd minute, he provided an assist for El Arguioui, and a little later, he beat Koeman himself (60'). It was his first goal of the season.

However, the hosts did not give up; shortly after, they were awarded a penalty. Goalkeeper Koeman stepped up and converted (63'). They then equalized late, and in the eleventh minute of stoppage time, Koeman scored again from the penalty spot.

Binder watched from the bench; the Austrian was substituted in the 68th minute.
