The Serie A top-of-the-table clash between Juventus Turin and AC Milan ends in a 1-1 draw on matchday three.

The "Old Lady" was clearly the better team in a first half largely devoid of highlights. Milan, on the other hand, showed nothing offensively – the "Rossoneri" failed to register a single shot on goal until halftime.

Juventus repeatedly created dangerous situations, primarily through Francisco Conceicao. Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan saved his team from falling behind twice with strong saves against the lively Portuguese (25th, 38th).

Juve also remained on the front foot after the break. Conceicao hit the left post with a long-range effort (55'), with Maignan already beaten.

Milan Strikes Out of Nowhere

Completely against the run of play, Milan finally took the lead.

Teenager Alphadjo Cisse, who had been substituted in just minutes earlier, took on the Juventus defence in the 68th minute, shook off a defender and curled the ball spectacularly into the far corner from a tight angle. Milan thus incredibly took a 1-0 lead with their very first shot on target of the game.

It was already the 19-year-old's second goal in a Milan shirt. Cisse had already found the net against Torino on his debut on matchday one.

Juventus pushed for the equaliser in the closing stages and finally got their reward. Federico Gatti, who had also been substituted in just three minutes earlier, headed a free-kick from Teun Koopmeiners into the net (90.+2).

Both Still Unbeaten

With the draw, both Milan and Juventus are on seven points after three matchdays. The "Rossoneri" thus rank third in the table behind AS Roma and Inter Milan, who still boast a flawless record.

Juventus follows in fourth place, also with seven points.
