Ex-Salzburg Keeper's Contract Terminated!
The goalkeeper, who played for clubs including Red Bull Salzburg and Blau-Weiß Linz, is now without a club. The Portuguese top-flight club parted ways with the keeper by mutual consent.
Nico Mantl and FC Arouca from the Portuguese first division are parting ways by mutual consent.
Mantl's contract in Portugal would have run until 2028. For the Portuguese club, he made 39 competitive appearances since 2024, keeping nine clean sheets.
In the Austrian Bundesliga, the German was under contract with Salzburg for 3.5 years. In the second half of the past season, the goalkeeper was on loan to Blau-Weiß Linz.
