"I definitely want to go abroad!" - WAC defender open to a move
The 24-year-old wants to recommend himself for bigger things at WAC. The right-back has big ambitions.
Fabian Wohlmuth is playing his second season with the Wolfsberg club. However, the Lavanttal region is not intended to be the final destination of his career.
"I want to go abroad! I hope that through WAC I can recommend myself for such challenges and, in the medium term, take this step, like many before me," Wohlmuth told "Krone".
In 2025, the full-back moved from SV Ried to WAC. Wohlmuth has played 38 games for the "Wolves" so far.
Cup Challenge at Home
In the 1-3 defeat against LASK, the Burgenlander scored his first goal in his Bundesliga career. The deadlock is now said to have been broken.
"It bothered me that the ball never went in, because I actually have a good finish," grins the 24-year-old. "I have a feeling that more goals will follow now."
This Sunday, Wohlmuth and WAC face Parndorf in the Cup (from 5 PM in the live ticker >>>).
