Wanner's Assist Not Enough: Twente Comes From Behind Against PSV
Despite the Austrian national team player's assist for the temporary lead, PSV had to concede defeat at Twente Enschede.

However, it was no good for PSV Eindhoven: The "Boeren" had already taken a 2-1 lead at Twente Enschede, but ultimately succumbed to a 3-2 defeat.
PSV started the game better, but the hosts took the lead through Younes Taha after just under a quarter of an hour (14').

But the visitors hit back in the form of Guus Til with a quickfire double (26', 29'), with Wanner providing the assist for the temporary 2-1 lead.
In the second half, Twente was the better team and was rewarded in the closing stages: Wout Weghorst first equalized (79'), and shortly after, Daouda Weidmann turned the game in favor of the hosts (83').
At that point, Wanner was no longer on the pitch: He was substituted in the 80th minute.
