Austrian International Huskovic Targeted by Belgian Top Club
A Swedish club is also observing the former Austria player.
Muharem Huskovic has had a fairly good start to the new season with his club FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo.
After the striker made a permanent move from Wiener Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina last winter, he struggled in the spring. He only managed 55 minutes of playing time in five brief appearances.
This season, however, he has appeared in all eight games so far. Although he only started once, he has already scored three goals, including an important goal in the Sarajevo derby.
Anderlecht Scout in the Stadium
With these performances, the 23-year-old Austrian is now said to have attracted the attention of bigger clubs.
According to the Bosnian website "klix.ba", scouts from Belgian record champions RSC Anderlecht and Swedish club Kalmar FF were reportedly in the stadium on Friday for the 1-1 match against Celik Zenica.
In addition to two other players, the observers were reportedly particularly focused on Huskovic. The contract of the former U21 international in the Bosnian capital runs until summer 2028.
