Kojzek scores again in wild Partizan draw
The Austrian international gives Partizan Belgrade an early lead. However, in the end, the struggling capital club only manages a draw away at Radnik Surdulica.
Erik Kojzek scores again for Partizan Belgrade.
The 20-year-old Austrian international netted the temporary 1-0 lead (18th minute) away at Radnik Surdulica on the 10th matchday of the Serbian league.
After Kojzek shone with a brace as a substitute last week, the striker was in the starting eleven this time and played until the 69th minute.
Partizan squanders lead
After Kojzek's goal, not much went right for Partizan. The hosts turned the game around before the break and led 3-1 after 45 minutes.
Additionally, Partizan weakened themselves. Milan Vukotic received a red card in the 35th minute for insulting the referee.
Eight-goal spectacle
After the change of ends, the capital club fought their way back despite being a man down. Partizan first equalized to 3-3, but then fell behind again. In the 73rd minute, they finally managed to make it 4-4.
However, Partizan isn't really making progress. After nine played matches, the club only has eight points and is in eleventh place. The gap to league leaders and arch-rivals Red Star Belgrade is already 17 points.
Former Rapid player Zivkovic also with a scorer point
Things are going much better for former Rapid player Jovan Zivkovic and FK Radnicki 1923. Zivkovic was substituted in the 65th minute and set up the final goal of the match in the 5-3 away win against OFK Belgrade.
With 17 points, Radnicki is a strong third.
