First Win of the Season! Promoted Coventry Downs Nottingham and Glasner

Oliver Glasner and Xaver Schlager's side succumbed to the promoted team. Frank Lampard's side secured their first win and also their first goal of the season.
The first half was largely uneventful. The game was characterized by numerous duels and ball recoveries.
Schlager, in particular, was kept busy, as Coventry tried to disrupt the "Tricky Trees" early on, often succeeding.

In the 55th minute, Coventry City scored their first goal of the season. Rushworth, with a long ball from goal, saw it sail over Munoz and past Sels, allowing Dasilva to tap it into an empty net.
Jesus had a golden opportunity to equalize for Forest but was denied by Rushworth (76').
Equalizer Disallowed
In the 86th minute, Jesus scored what appeared to be an equalizer for Nottingham. However, the goal was disallowed by VAR due to a foul on Onyeka.
With this result, Coventry City moved off the bottom of the table and are now 18th. Forest find themselves in twelfth place. Schlager played the full match for Nottingham.
