Hütter: Satisfied with a point because "performance wasn't good enough"

Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead twice against SC Freiburg, and the Breisgau side equalized twice. In the end, it was a 2-2 draw.

A point Eintracht coach Adi Hütter could live with. He would have liked to take more, but he stated frankly in the club's own media that he was "satisfied with the point because our performance wasn't good enough."

"I have no understanding for that"

To secure a win against Freiburg, "you have to put in a completely different performance. We had a phase where we could have scored the third goal, but in the end, we were also lucky to take the point," said Hütter.

The equalizer for the 2-2 final score by Freiburg's Suzuki particularly annoyed the 56-year-old. "We are clearly in possession and concede a very, very cheap goal," he fumed. That needs to stop; "I have no understanding for that."

He even went further and described his team's behaviour in this situation as "not professional enough," Hütter rebuked his men at the post-match press conference.
