Hannover gets first win after Titz's sacking
Just days after parting ways with coach Christian Titz, Hannover 96 secures a 2-0 victory against VfL Bochum under interim coach Lars Barlemann.
Thordarson taps in a corner for the 96ers' lead (24th), Hartel extends it to 2-0 just before halftime (43rd). But in the final phase, Bochum made things exciting again. Meyer nudges a long ball into the net with his back for 1-2 (77th).
In the end, H96 sees out the victory and thus jumps to tenth place. Bochum is now ninth.
Michael Steinweder played the full match for VfL Bochum and received a yellow card in the 61st minute.
Heidenheim's run broken
1. FC Heidenheim cannot continue its small three-game winning streak but at least remains undefeated. The relegated team draws 2-2 against Arminia Bielefeld.
Grodowksi puts the Arminen ahead (13th), Zivzivadze (30th, penalty) and Hennrich (45'+3) manage to turn the game around before the halftime whistle. Hagmann gives Bielefeld another point with his goal for 2-2 (55th).
Schmidt's squad thus remains third, Bielefeld is in 13th place. Matthias Honsak came on for Heidenheim from minute 70.
