Monsberger and Dursun Score in Swiss Super League
Furkan Dursun and FC Thun come out on top in the duel between the two Austrian legionnaires.
FC Thun wins 2-1 against FC Vaduz in the duel of the Austrian strikers.
Both Furkan Dursun and Marcel Monsberger are able to get on the scoresheet.
Swiss-based Legionnaires in Goal-Scoring Form
Former Rapid player Dursun opens the scoring with a goal in the 33rd minute. A high ball from Labeau is flicked on, and the Austrian is perfectly positioned to convert it for a 1-0 lead.
Dursun is also involved in the second goal. He sets up Nils Reichmuth's goal. It's his fourth assist of the season, and sixth scorer point overall (49th minute).
FC Vaduz's goal to reduce the deficit does not bring about a turnaround. Marcel Monsberger is forgotten by the Thun defense, allowing him to head in his fourth goal of the season unchallenged.
Both teams remain in the lower half of the table. FC Thun is in ninth place, while FC Vaduz is eleventh, making them second to last.
