Farewell Germany! Austrian international moves to the far north
The Carinthian leaves Munich behind and joins a club from Norway.
Raphael Schifferl (27) has a new club.
The Austrian international joins Norwegian second-division club FK Haugesund.
The Wolfsberg native signs a contract until the end of the season on Norway's southwest coast.
Schifferl played for 1860 Munich in the 3. Liga in Germany for the past two seasons. His contract with the "Lions" ended this summer, and Schifferl had been searching for a club ever since.
The former WAC and Unterhaching professional made 42 appearances for 1860 Munich, scoring once and providing one assist.
