Rapid had €5m offers for Wurmbrand
The 20-year-old winger wanted to move to Germany, but a transfer didn't materialize. His departure from Rapid, however, is likely only postponed.
Rapid could have fetched the desired five million euros for Nikolaus Wurmbrand in the summer.
According to information from "Kurier", there were two offers of this amount from top leagues for the 20-year-old. But not from Wurmbrand's preferred destination, Germany.
Neither Rapid nor the winger himself are likely to be disappointed. This season, Wurmbrand has five goals and two assists in twelve games. In the league, however, he mostly came off the bench.
A sale in winter or next summer is considered likely.
