New club for Valentin Akrap (23)!

The striker from regional league club SV Lafnitz is moving to the top Croatian league, joining top club NK Varazdin.

The Croatian player signs there until 2028. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity to come to Varaždin, and I'm very happy to be here. My first impressions are excellent: the players and the coaching staff welcomed me warmly, and the working conditions are fantastic," Akrap said.

Akrap moved to Lafnitz in 2025, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists in 31 games for the regional league club.

Minimal Professional Experience

Now he makes the jump to the Croatian top flight. Akrap brings only minimal professional experience, having played three games for SV Horn in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga in 2022.

In October 2022, he was once part of SV Ried's professional squad in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga but remained unused.

The 2.02-meter tall player was developed by SV Ried. He later played on loan for Horn and Wels before making a permanent move to Wels in 2024. With the Upper Austrians, he became Regionalliga champion in 2025. This was followed by a transfer from second-tier promoted club Wels to second-tier relegated club Lafnitz.

Currently, the club is third in Croatia, having finished third and fourth in the past two seasons. They are not represented in the UEFA Conference League after failing to qualify.
