ÖFB International Lazaro Scores First Goal for New Club
The 30-year-old full-back moved to the United Arab Emirates in the summer. In his fifth game for the new club, he scores his first goal.
Valentino Lazaro has fully settled in at his new club, al-Ain FC.
Although the record champions of the United Arab Emirates drop points for the first time on the fifth matchday of the domestic Pro League, they draw 2-2 in the top match against al-Wasl after twice falling behind.
However, ÖFB international Lazaro becomes the late hero for al-Ain, securing the final score with a header in the 82nd minute. This is his first goal for his new club, which he joined in the summer.
After five matchdays, Al-Ain now has 13 points and is second in the table behind al-Jazira (also 13 points).
