The ÖFB supervisory board is meeting next Friday to discuss Peter Schöttel's future. It appears his time at the ÖFB is coming to an end.
ÖFB Sporting Director Peter Schöttel is apparently facing the exit at the ÖFB.
As reported by "Kurier", the separation from the 59-year-old is imminent. This is expected to be decided as early as next Friday at a meeting of the supervisory board.
The meeting will take place three days before the upcoming squad announcement for the Nations League. For the press conference, the ÖFB announced ÖFB President Josef Pröll as a speaker, alongside national team coach Ralf Rangnick. The two will jointly review the 2026 World Cup.
