Ex-Rapid Top Talent Zivkovic Moves to Serbia
Jovan Zivkovic didn't make the breakthrough at Rapid, but he became Hungarian champion last season. Now he's moving on.
New club for Jovan Zivkovic.
The 20-year-old Austrian international leaves Györi ETO FC on loan and joins Serbian top-flight club FC Radnicki 1923 for the upcoming season.
The winger is expected to gain match practice in Serbia. He barely got any last season in Györ. Zivkovic only played eleven competitive matches, three of which were for the full 90 minutes.
Nevertheless, there was plenty to celebrate at the end of the season: The Viennese player surprisingly became Hungarian champion with Györ.
Debuted for Rapid at 17
Zivkovic only moved to Györ in July 2025. Before that, he was active for SK Rapid for six years, went through all youth teams and worked his way up to the professional squad.
In 2024, he debuted for the Green-Whites' senior team at the age of 17, but the highly-praised talent's big breakthrough did not materialize.
In addition to nine appearances for Rapid's first team, the Austrian U-national player also recorded 18 goals in 51 games for Rapid II.
