Adi Hütter and Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly won the transfer race for a Nigerian international.

According to transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri, the move of Raphael Onyedika (Club Brugge) to Eintracht is virtually sealed.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has agreed to the deal. Only the final details between the clubs remain.

The 26-time Nigerian international brings 95 appearances in the Belgian top flight.

Ex-Salzburg Assistant Misses Out

A club from Saudi Arabia also entered the fray as a competitor. According to Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ittihad sent an inquiry last week.

However, the club of ex-Salzburg assistant Jens Wissing (assistant coach to Thomas Letsch from June to October 2025) will reportedly miss out.

According to the "Telegraph", former loan player Arnaud Kalimuendo also remains a topic in Frankfurt; he is under contract with Glasner's club Nottingham Forest. More on this >>>
