Will Schicker still sell an ex-Austria player to Barcelona after all?
The Kosovan hopes for a move to the Catalan capital. There is actually an agreement with RB Leipzig.
Fisnik Asllani (23) is considered a hot departure candidate at TSG Hoffenheim thanks to his release clause (around 29 million euros).
The Kosovan delivered eleven goals and ten assists in 35 games last season. Austrian sporting director Andreas Schicker never made a secret of transfer talks >>>
Agreement with RBL
FC Barcelona had long been linked with loose interest, but according to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, the Kosovan has already reached an agreement with RB Leipzig.
However, the Saxons apparently still have to wait, as, according to the Catalan "Sport", Asllani wants to await the situation in Barcelona. Accordingly, there is a standstill.
Hoping for a Barcelona Deal
Barcelona's desired player Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid) might not end up at the Spanish champions, as the Madrid club is resisting a deal, demanding a high sum.
If the transfer falls through, Asllani still sees a remaining chance for a Barcelona deal. Currently, there is a standstill, and the Asllani case continues to require waiting. In the national team, the ex-Austria player features under former ÖFB national team coach Franco Foda.
