Move to Real? Bayern CEO speaks about Olise rumors
The "Royals" are reportedly showing great interest in the FC Bayern superstar. Now, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has commented on the reports.
Michael Olise is reportedly the absolute desired player for Spanish top club Real Madrid.
The French attacking player from FC Bayern has been linked with a move to the "Royals" for weeks – even though they had already denied the transfer rumors in an official statement. Now, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is also commenting on the rumors.
"Of course" the 24-year-old will remain at Säbener Straße, said the 58-year-old on Tuesday at an event at the Presseclub München. There has been no contact from Real Madrid, nor has Olise approached Bayern officials with a desire to leave.
Diaz is also set to stay
"It's astonishing what can be spread when you yourself know what the truth is," Dreesen said. In the past, Olise has been declared non-transferable multiple times by the club management.
Wing player Luis Diaz, who has been linked with Al-Hilal, will also probably not move to Saudi Arabia, as the 58-year-old confirmed.
"We'd be stupid, wouldn't we? We have such a wonderful team, honestly. Let's just start the season and score a few goals," said Dreesen.
