Recently, James Trafford was still playing for England at the World Cup in America, and now a transfer appears to be on the horizon.

According to consistent reports from several media outlets, the 23-year-old goalkeeper is on the verge of a move from Manchester City to Leeds United.

The "Whites" are expected to spare no expense for the transfer. Accordingly, the two clubs have already agreed on a transfer fee of 46.8 million Euros plus bonuses.

Own Transfer Record Surpassed

With this, Trafford surpasses his own record as the most expensive English goalkeeper in history. The shot-stopper only set this record last year when Manchester City transferred 31.2 million Euros to FC Burnley.

At the "Skyblues," Trafford was mostly only second choice behind Gianluigi Donnarumma last season. In total, he played 17 games for Manchester City.

At Leeds United, the keeper is planned as the number one. Incidentally, Trafford will become the most expensive transfer in the "Whites'" club history.
