Confirmed! Juventus unveil new first-choice goalkeeper
Several names were discussed, now Juventus present their new starting goalkeeper.
Juventus have signed Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper initially moves to the "Old Lady" on loan, with no loan fee payable.
After the end of the season, Juventus can sign the keeper permanently for eight million euros. With bonus payments, the transfer fee could rise to up to ten million euros.
Vicario completed his medical in Turin on Tuesday and subsequently signed his contract.
Di Gregorio Set for Departure
However, current starting goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is set to temporarily leave Juventus.
The 29-year-old is close to a loan until the end of the season and has been offered to, among others, Olympique Marseille and another foreign club.
In recent weeks, Emiliano Martínez and Zion Suzuki were also linked as possible new signings at Juventus.
