Is a Transfer to England Looming for Scotland-Based Player Fadinger?
The 25-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs on the island, including teams from England.
Lukas Fadinger is considered indispensable at FC Motherwell.
Following a strong debut season in 2025/26, he has since risen in the internal hierarchy and even wore the captain's armband in the Conference League qualifying second leg against HJK Helsinki.
In his seven appearances this season so far, the central midfielder has also scored three goals. Unsurprisingly, this has attracted interest from other clubs.
Keen Interest Ahead of "Biggest Game of Career"
As transfer journalist Rudy Galetti reports, a Scottish Premiership club and three English clubs have already enquired about him. The Scottish club is reportedly one of the Glasgow giants - Celtic and Rangers - as reported by club-affiliated portals.
On Thursday, Fadinger can once again showcase his talent when they face SC Freiburg in the Conference League playoff. He told the BBC that for him, the match will be "the most important game of my career so far."
