Reigning double winners Inter Milan also staged a comeback on the fourth matchday of Serie A.

The "Nerazzurri" had turned a 0-2 deficit against Napoli into a 3-2 victory just a week ago. On Monday, coach Cristian Chivu's team also fell 0-2 behind against Udinese but ultimately celebrated a 5-3 win. This sees the Italian champions return to winning ways after their 1-2 Champions League defeat against Real Madrid.

The visitors from Udine were clinical in the early stages in Milan. James Abankwah (9') and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp (16') gave Udinese an early 2-0 lead.

The hosts managed to equalize before halftime. Carlos Augusto (26') and Nicolo Barella (35') made it 2-2.

Inter Dominates in Second Half

After the break, it was almost all Inter. Henrikh Mkhitaryan initially missed a golden opportunity before Marcus Thuram turned the game around (57').

Pio Esposito (67') and Ange-Yoan Bonny (79') scored to make it 5-2. In the final phase, Udinese striker Idrissa Gueye scored to make it 3-5, adding some gloss to the scoreline (90').

With this home victory, Inter moves past Como and occupies second place in the table. Leaders are Roma, who also boast a perfect record so far after their 2-0 win against Torino. Udinese is in 13th place.
