Juventus Turin suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against Sassuolo Calcio on the fourth Serie A matchday.

The first goal was scored in the 65th minute: Sebastiano Esposito put Sassuolo ahead after an assist from veteran Nemanja Matic.

Juventus reacted late, but initially successfully: Substitute Edon Zhegrova scored the equaliser in the 82nd minute.

Three Goals in Five Minutes

After that, the final minutes completely escalated. Kieron Bowie scored in the 89th minute, assisted by super sub Darryl Bakola, to make it 2-1 for the hosts.

Just one minute later, Zhegrova, assisted by Randal Kolo Muani, once again made it 2-2.

As everything pointed to a draw, Sassuolo launched the decisive counter-attack: In the 94th minute, Armand Laurienté set up substitute Vasilije Adzic, who slotted home the celebrated 3-2 winning goal.

In the table, the home team climbed to ninth place after the win, while Juventus Turin sits in eighth.
