Austrian international Benedikt Pichler gets a new coach!

Hannover 96 and Christian Titz are parting ways with immediate effect. The German second-division club officially announced this on Monday evening following a poor start to the season.

Hannover is in 15th place with just four points from the first five games and has consequently pulled the plug. U23 coach Lars Barlemann will now take charge of Sunday's match against Bochum on an interim basis.

Promotion target missed

After that, Sandro Wagner could take over the reins during the international break, as "Bild" reports >>>

Titz took over the 96ers in the summer of 2025 with the goal of Bundesliga promotion. Last season, they collapsed in the final sprint and only finished fifth. This year, things have been significantly worse so far.
