Could the DFB bring in a former coach of FC Red Bull Salzburg?

As "Sky Sport Deutschland" reports, Pepijn Lijnders is considered a potential candidate for the new assistant coach position with the Germans. But of course, only if Jürgen Klopp indeed succeeds Julian Nagelsmann as national team coach.

The 59-year-old recently confirmed he is holding talks with the DFB >>>

According to Sky, these discussions are also said to revolve around Klopp's future coaching staff. Alongside Lijnders, former Leipzig interim coach Zsolt Löw (Head of Soccer Philosophy at Red Bull) and Peter Krawietz (Head of Soccer Development at Red Bull) are also reportedly under consideration.

Lijnders was assistant coach at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola until the end of the season.
