VfB Stuttgart does not want to let Christopher Olivier leave yet.

The 20-year-old Austrian wants to take the next step in his career and leave the Swabians this summer, having exclusively played for their second team. However, VfB is currently resisting.

Several clubs are interested in the right-back, including SK Rapid and Austria Wien. However, Olivier is said to have already agreed terms with German second-division club Hannover 96 and Danish top-flight club Bröndby IF, reports "Kicker".

Stuttgart Hesitates With Sale

VfB could receive around one million euros, but Stuttgart is hesitant.

The reason: key player Lorenz Assignons might be recovering from a shoulder injury until the start of the season. In addition, Josha Vagnoman and Leonidas Stergiou have been repeatedly hampered by injuries in the past.

Olivier is contractually bound to Stuttgart until summer 2028; the Austrian U21 international has been playing for the Swabians since 2022. The Vorarlberger has made 47 appearances for the second team so far.
