Will Muslic get midfield reinforcements?
FC Schalke 04 is keen to sign Junior Dina Ebimbe from Eintracht Frankfurt. A deal is close.
FC Schalke 04 would like to strengthen their squad with Junior Dina Ebimbe for the upcoming Bundesliga season.
As reported by "WAZ", the "Royal Blues" have already agreed on a move with the 25-year-old.
Only a few negotiations between the clubs are still necessary. The transfer fee is currently still being haggled over.
Transfer Fee Likely Just Over One Million
Dina Ebimbe is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2027. According to "Sky" and "Bild", the Frankfurt club is demanding a transfer fee of two million euros. Schalke, however, is said to be insisting on paying only one million euros.
Despite this, the midfielder from Cameroon would likely still be the most expensive new signing of the current summer transfer window. So far, Schalke has spent money on two new players: Satoshi Tanaka (1 million euros to Düsseldorf) and Austrian international Junior Adamu (800,000 euros to Freiburg).
Last season, Dina Ebimbe was on loan to Stade Brest in Ligue 1, where he scored five goals in 27 appearances.
