Alex Schlager likely to leave Salzburg on a free transfer!
The 'Bulls' apparently won't receive a transfer fee for the ÖFB national team goalkeeper, even though Schlager still has a year left on his contract.

This is reported by "Deichstube," a medium close to Werder. According to the report, an agreement on all points has been reached between the Bremen club and Red Bull Salzburg. Medical checks and contract signing are expected to follow shortly.
No Transfer Fee Despite Contract
As the medium further writes, Schlager is even leaving the "Bulls" on a free transfer - despite a valid contract until 2027.
The goalkeeper has appeared 30 times for the ÖFB team and has a total of 241 Bundesliga appearances.
