Haris Tabakovic is on the verge of returning to Austria.
Three years after his departure from Wiener Austria, the Bosnian striker is set to make a move to FC Red Bull Salzburg. This is reported by "Sky Sport Deutschland".
According to the report, a full agreement has been reached between TSG Hoffenheim and the Salzburg club, and Tabakovic himself has also given his commitment to Salzburg.
Medical check this week
Last year's Bundesliga third-place finishers are reportedly set to pay around five million euros for the 32-year-old, who will receive a contract until 2029. The medical check is expected to take place as early as Friday.
Upon a return to the Bundesliga, Tabakovic would face his two former clubs. From 2020 to 2022, he played for Austria Lustenau, and in the 2022/23 season for FK Austria Wien.
