TSG Hoffenheim celebrates a 3-0 home victory against Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 7 of the German Bundesliga.

Austrian international Alexander Prass seals the victory in the final minute but is shown a yellow-red card after his goal celebration, during which he took off his shirt.

Kramaric Puts Hoffenheim Ahead

Hoffenheim largely dictated play in the first half. Adam Hlozek missed the first good opportunity as early as the fifth minute, while at the other end, Nathan Tella failed to give Leverkusen the lead after a strong solo run (7').

After that, Hoffenheim took control again. Fisnik Asllani was denied by Bayer keeper Mark Flekken with a double chance (12'). Hlozek came closest to scoring, hitting the right post. Prass put the rebound wide of the goal (38').

After the break, clear scoring opportunities remained scarce at first. In the final fifteen minutes, Edmond Tapsoba brought Asllani down in the penalty area. After consulting the monitor, referee Daniel Siebert awarded a penalty. Substitute Andrej Kramaric converted confidently to make it 1-0 (79').

For Hoffenheim, it is a historic goal: Kramaric scored the club's 1,000th Bundesliga goal. The Croatian had also scored TSG's 500th goal in the German top flight several years ago.

Prass Scores – and is Sent Off

Leverkusen immediately looked for a quick response after conceding. However, Ibrahim Maza missed a big chance to equalise at 1-1 (80').

Instead, Hoffenheim struck again in the final minute: Prass scored in the 89th minute from a Kramaric assist to make it 2-0, thereby sealing the victory.

The Austrian's celebration, however, had consequences. Prass took off his shirt and was shown his second yellow card for it. As he had already been booked for a tactical foul just before halftime, the 25-year-old was sent off with a yellow-red card.

In stoppage time, Max Moerstedt, once again from a Kramaric assist, even made it 3-0 (90+6').

Hoffenheim Climbs to Tenth Place

For Ilzer's team, it is the third consecutive competitive victory.

TSG now has eleven points and moves up to tenth place in the table. Bayer Leverkusen remains in fourth place with 13 points.

Patrick Wimmer remains sidelined for Hoffenheim due to injury. Prass will have to miss the next Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen due to suspension.
