SK Sturm Graz has submitted an offer for striker Samed Bazdar from Real Zaragoza. "El Periodico de Aragon" reports this.

According to "Przeglad Sportowy", the Graz side is also showing interest in signing left-back Jakub Lewicki from Polish top-flight club Piast Gliwice.

World Cup Debut against Canada

The offer for Bosnian World Cup participant Bazdar is said to have been a loan offer with a low buy option. However, the Spanish club, which was relegated to the third division this year, is said to have rejected the offer.

The 22-year-old Bazdar was part of Bosnia and Herzegovina's World Cup squad. He played for about half an hour in the opening match against Canada (1:1). He remained on the bench in the other matches.

The 1.89-meter tall right-footer was trained at Partizan Belgrade and moved to Spain in 2024 for three million euros. Bazdar had played one international match for Serbia before deciding to switch to the Bosnian federation.

Last spring, the attacker played on loan in Poland for Jagiellonia (three goals). His contract in Zaragoza runs until 2029.

Sturm in Search of Karic Replacement

The Graz club is reportedly interested in the 20-year-old left-back Lewicki since April and is expected to submit an official offer shortly.

A few days ago, the Styrians were already linked with full-back Jakub Krzyzanowski from Wisla Krakow (read more here >>>).

As is well known, left-back Emir Karic left Sturm for MLS in the summer.

Developed into a Regular Starter

Go Ahead Eagles from the Eredivisie are also reportedly interested in Poland's U21 international Lewicki. The Dutch club is said to have already submitted an offer. In May, Hibernian FC from Scotland was also mentioned as an interested party in the media.

Lewicki still has one year left on his contract in Poland, with his club having the option to extend the contract by another year.

The 20-year-old has developed into a regular starter under coach Daniel Mysliwiec, who arrived in Gliwice in October. In the past season, he made 24 league appearances from the start.

According to "Przeglad Sportowy", Lewicki feels ready for a move abroad, but does not intend to leave the club at any cost.
