Following strong performances at the World Cup in goal for the Austrian national team, transfer expert Rudy Galetti reports an offer from Saudi Arabia for the Salzburg native. According to him, Al-Fateh SC has submitted an offer, which Schlager is currently evaluating.

Contract expires in 2027

Al-Fateh finished the past Saudi Pro League season in eleventh place. Coach Jose Gomes moved to Al-Khaleej after two years in charge. A successor has not yet been found. The club from Al Mubarraz won the championship in 2013.

Three years ago, the 30-time Austrian international moved from LASK back to Salzburg, where he had spent most of his youth. His contract with the Bulls expires next summer.
