Another former Salzburg coach close to Saudi Arabia move
Thomas Letsch was still coach of the "Bulls" until February. Now he is reportedly headed for the desert.
Thomas Letsch has reportedly found a new job!
According to "Sky" information, the 57-year-old German will soon become the new head coach at Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
Deal Nearing Completion
According to the media report, Letsch is already in advanced negotiations with the Saudi club, and the deal could be finalized in the coming days.
Letsch was head coach at FC Red Bull Salzburg for 56 matches from January 2025 to February 2026, but was then replaced by Daniel Beichler. From 2018 to 2019, he also coached Wiener Austria.
Three Ex-Salzburg Connections?
Al-Shabab finished only 13th in the league last year. In Saudi Arabia, Letsch will meet Matthias Jaissle, another former Salzburg coach.
