On Sunday, the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup will feature a duel between two traditional Viennese clubs: regional league side Wiener Sport-Club hosts Wiener Austria (from 6:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

It is a clash that carries a certain tension. The last time the two teams faced each other in the ÖFB Cup, Sport-Club eliminated Austria in the 2022/23 round of 16 with a 3-1 victory.

Sport-Club finished last season of the Regionalliga Ost in tenth place. Austria, on the other hand, qualified for the Conference League qualifiers as fourth in the Bundesliga. There, the "Veilchen" secured a 2-0 victory against FK Liepaja last Thursday in the first leg of the second round.
