SK Sturm showed no weakness against SV Seekirchen in the 1st round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup.

Away from home, the Grazers celebrated a 3-0 victory.

Ingolitsch Fires Up the Rotation Machine

Seekirchen started well, making it difficult for the Grazers with a combative game.

Fabio Ingolitsch rotated heavily, with nine new faces in Sturm's starting XI. One of them had to leave the pitch after about fifteen minutes.

Gabriel Haider limped off the field and was replaced by Jürgen Heil (19'). Subsequently, Sturm grew stronger, with Beganovic missing their first clear-cut chance in the 36th minute.

Seidl Scores His Debut Goal

Only a short time later, however, Simon Seidl was successful. Ryan Fosso quickly took the free-kick, followed by a great through ball from Gizo Mamageishvili into the box, where Seidl converted coolly (39').

Thus, the Austrian vice-champions went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

Sturm Wins Dominantly

And SK Sturm came out of it very well. The Grazers got the better start. Fosso finished a beautiful combination with Belmin Beganovic to make it 2-0 (49').

In the final phase, Szymon Wlodarczyk also had something to celebrate: after a pass from Malic, the Pole scored for 3-0 (85').

After that, the Grazers left nothing to chance and overcame the Seekirchen hurdle dominantly.
