The four-time Formula 1 world champion occasionally watches a ski race or two in winter. This also impressed Julia Scheib.
On August 12, Julia Scheib will depart for South America to prepare for the upcoming World Cup winter season.
The reigning winner of the giant slalom discipline title used the summer to recharge her batteries and experience a thing or two – such as a visit to the Formula 1 GP in Spielberg.
There, she also had the opportunity to talk with Max Verstappen. "He's super nice," Scheib revealed in an interview with the "Krone."

She was also impressed by the fact that the Dutchman admitted to watching her in some ski races last winter.
"It's really cool when he tells you that he's seen some of your races and then also congratulates you on your great season," said Scheib.
