FC Bayern Munich will not sign any further new players this summer.

Sporting director Max Eberl has declared the transfer market closed for the German record champions.

"We completed the transfers of Brown and Saibari very quickly. That's why I thought it was clear that we were done with new arrivals," explains Eberl.

Eberl: "Had to smile"

At the same time, he expressed amusement at the numerous names recently linked with Bayern.

He tells "FAZ": "I had to smile about the names that were linked with us. There was really zero percent truth to any of the names that were circulating around us."

Departures could still be on the cards for the German record champions. Joao Palhinha and Sacha Boey are reportedly set to leave the club.
