"Nice to be able to give something back": Puchner has new role
The former speed skier ended her career in the summer, and has now found a new role.
Mirjam Puchner remains involved in skiing after ending her career!
The former ÖSV skier recently attended a conditioning competition with many motivated talents in Rif, as she announced on Instagram.
She also intends to work with young athletes in the future and share her knowledge. "I'm delighted that I'll be able to share my experiences and know-how at various speed camps in winter," she reports.
Career End After 14 Years in the World Cup
The 2022 Olympic silver medalist adds: "I'm really looking forward to repeatedly accompanying the next generation on their journey and supporting them with my expertise. It's nice to be part of the team and to be able to give something back."
Puchner ended her career in June 2026 after 178 World Cup races and 14 years of skiing at the highest level. The 34-year-old achieved two victories and also won silver at the 2025 World Championships in Saalbach.
