The ski jump comeback is a success!

Eva Pinkelnig is back on the ski jump after a 364-day injury break. About a year ago, she suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament as well as a torn inner and outer meniscus in her left knee.

The 38-year-old completed training jumps on Thursday on the 60-meter hill in Montafon. After a period full of uncertainty about whether she could ever return, it is now clear: The knee is holding up.

Competition Comeback Still Open

Nevertheless, it is still uncertain when Pinkelnig will return to competitive action. For her, the comeback was only truly successful with this milestone.

The Women's Ski Jumping World Cup season starts on November 20 in Lillehammer.
