After Retirement: Ski Jumping Olympic Champion Becomes a Father for the First Time
The Norwegian ended his career in 2024, having previously suffered a serious fall. Now, he celebrates the arrival of his first child.

The former Norwegian ski jumper announced on Instagram, along with his wife, that they have become parents for the first time.
"Welcome to our family, Filippa," the post reads. Several well-known names from the sports world, such as Gregor Schlierenzauer and Johann Andre Forfang, have already offered their congratulations.
Only about five weeks ago, Tande proposed to his beloved.
Serious Fall Overshadowed Career
The Norwegian achieved eight World Cup victories in his active career. In 2018, he was crowned individual Ski Flying World Champion, and in 2018, he became an Olympic champion in the team event.
Three years later, Tande suffered a serious fall at the Ski Flying World Cup in Planica. He had to be placed in an induced coma for several days but made his comeback on the hill in the same year and resumed competing. His career then concluded in 2024.
