Rapid Coach Slams ÖFB: "It makes no sense!"
The Dane cannot comprehend the nomination of a Rapid player, stating he is not yet fit.
Rapid coach Johannes Hoff Thorup is anything but thrilled about the U21 national team squad nomination.
Eaden Roka, Jakob Schöller, Ensar Music, Nicolas Bajlicz, and Nikolaus Wurmbrand – a total of five Rapid players – made it into Peter Perchtold's squad.
Rehab Plan Submitted
At the press conference before the WSG match, Hoff Thorup specifically criticized the nomination of Jakob Schöller. The 20-year-old has thigh problems and last played for the Viennese over a month ago, in mid-August.
"I don't understand it, it makes no sense," said the Dane. He added that they had even submitted the rehab plan to the ÖFB and must be careful with the centre-back, who has a long injury history.
