Will Markus Katzer join ÖFB? The Rapid boss speaks out
The sporting director will likely remain with the Viennese club. He cannot confirm rumours of a move to ÖFB.
Is sporting director Markus Katzer (46) moving from SK Rapid to ÖFB? A job became vacant there after the departure of Peter Schöttel.
The "Salzburger Nachrichten" reported that Katzer was interested. Regarding this report, Katzer now tells "Krone": "I can deny that 1000 percent; it's currently not an issue for me."
He has not spoken to anyone and has not been contacted. Katzer has been with Rapid since January 2023, and his contract runs until the end of 2027.
