After first WTA title: What Lilli Tagger plans next
The 18-year-old Tyrolean is now setting her sights on America: The US Open will take place there at the end of August.
Last Sunday, Lilli Tagger became only the tenth Austrian woman ever to win a WTA tournament.
At the WTA 250 hardcourt tournament in Prague, she defeated Ukrainian Daria Snigur in two sets.

Together with her family, who traveled from Lienz to Prague especially for the occasion on Sunday, the title was, of course, duly celebrated.
"My family toasted, but I didn't. Not for health reasons, but simply because I don't like alcohol," Tagger explained in an interview with the "Kleine Zeitung".
Cincinnati, Monterrey, and then New York
The 18-year-old Tyrolean is enjoying the time she can spend with her family, as such moments are rare for a player on the WTA Tour. This week, Tagger is already heading to America.
"I'm home in Lienz for a few days now, but I'm probably heading to the USA on Friday, where I'll play the qualification in Cincinnati. After that, it's off to Mexico for the 500-level tournament in Monterrey, and then the US Open will follow," Tagger said about her tournament plans.
Comfortable on Hardcourt
Tagger will compete at the US Open for the very first time. She has proven her comfort on hardcourts not only in Prague.
"Although I grew up on clay, I'm becoming more and more comfortable with hardcourt, which is very positive because I play most of my matches on this surface throughout the year," says the 18-year-old.
