Austria's number two is surprisingly eliminated in the quarter-finals at the ATP Challenger in Bonn.
Jurij Rodionov loses to Germany's Jamie McKenzie 6:7, 4:6 in the Bonn quarter-finals.
McKenzie was ranked world No. 931 in the ATP rankings before the start of the tournament. The match was characterized by breaks, especially in the first set. While Rodionov hit nine aces, he only managed a first serve percentage of 54 percent in the end.
The 18-year-old McKenzie converted his second match point after 1 hour and 47 minutes, reaching an ATP Challenger semi-final for the first time in his career.
