BSL: Oberwart celebrates clear victory against BC Vienna
The Gunners achieve their first success of the current season. The Viennese must once again accept a defeat.
The Unger Steel Gunners Oberwart celebrated a clear 114:58 home victory over BC Vienna at the start of the 2nd round in the win2day Basketball Superliga.
For the team from Burgenland, who rested Larry Wise (foot injury), US import Joseph Anderson was the top scorer with 25 points, while national player Renato Poljak (18 PTS) was the best domestic shooter for the four-time champions.
Oberwart celebrates first victory
For the vice-champions, it was their first victory in their second game of the season. Vienna also clearly lost their second match. 19-year-old Lukas Cvetkova led the team with 25 points.
The second round of the win2day Basketball Superliga will conclude on Friday with four more encounters.
